Love this story! I lived in San Manuel as a toddler and preschooler and would’ve been born there if it had a hospital (Tucson had to do). Some of the best people in my life were from this little town. Thanks for telling this story-rural communities get overlooked all the time and we miss out on the rich history as well as on future plans of the communities.
Great story about what ordinary folks can do when they work together for a small community. You have to step up and take part. Very encouraging.
