Thanks. I’m never crazy about raising sales tax, but since we can’t depend upon on our lazy, worthless legislative majority to fix problems that help fire departments, I’m in.

"32 years ago Democrat Terry Goddard & Republican Fife Symington engaged in epic battle to be Governor."

I worked on that campaign and it was brutal. Symington was accused of doing what Trump has been accused of doing in NY: Giving different financials to different audiences, one of which would logically have been false (if not both.)

One of my favorite political games over the years has been to ask Arizona activists "Who was the last Arizona governor to be first elected governor and then served two full terms?" A lot of folks say Babbitt, but he wasn't first elected governor: he became governor when Wes Bolin died. Now it looks like the answer will be Ducey, but before him? ;)

Consider expanding your Prop 130 description: "Prop 130 gives the legislature more power to decide who gets property tax exemptions. VOTE NO." Civic Action Beyond Voting -- https://www.cebv.us/2022-ballot.html. A clause buried in the wording: "The Legislature may determine by law the qualifications for, and the amount of, the exemptions of property described [above - ed., charitable, religious, nonprofits, personal property used in trade, business, agriculture]. A poison pill opening the door to future unilateral legislative exemptions of less merit than for disabled vets?
