I’m a professor emeritus at ASU. I have a law degree and a PhD in political science. I love the Arizona agenda for its slightly snarky take on the local news. I appreciate its absence of pontification, it’s humor, and rejection of hypocrisy. I think what you do is great. What could be better? Sometimes your issues seem a little bit long and a little too much in the weeds for me. But that’s a small matter. Basic thing is I’m glad you’re there.
I'm a bit of a political junkie, so I love your take on the local issues (and I follow Heather Cox Richardson & Joanne Freeman for the national stuff). And I appreciate that you asked me to write that column on the Hunt/Thomas election of 1916. As a historian I enjoy considering how things are today in comparison to 100 years ago in this state. I do get palpitations when the Agenda is "late" but understand your need for a vacation (I took one last week). I look forward to the guest writers.

I'm a retired RN with background in acute care hospitals and gov't Public Health programs. I appreciate the news that you deliver and glad to know you are taking care of yourselves by taking time off.
Who am I? I’m a 70 yo married (51 years) female who likes to be kept abreast of the local political scene. Folks get wrapped around the axel on national politics, and that axel is big. But they overlook our state and local legislators, who have recently taken front-row seats in national politics. The back row seats are also important. Thanks for keeping me informed.
Have a well deserved break, somewhere cooler if such a place exists anymore. I am an emeritus professor of nursing from ASU. Retired from teaching and my practice as a women's health NP in May 2020. Spend my time caring for my darling grandchildren here and in Massachusetts, following local, state, and national politics (via several state and national nursing organizations), volunteering as a department editor for a national journal (gender based health topics), and serving as a PC in my district. I enjoy hiking (locally and up north), running (in cooler months), and travel with my husband of 46 years.
I read this habitually. Love what you've done for our wonderful State and its' residents. Never miss it. Enjoy some well deserved time off and see you next month.

I'm a retired professor and dean/VP at Northern Arizona U...now more politically active since I'm no longer an employee of the state! And I am a huge supporter of local news. Thanks for covering our state political scene with humor and energy. I appreciate that you recognize that the state is larger than just Maricopa County...And thanks also for introducing us to some additional news sources while you take a well-deserved break.
