Thanks for your informative article on our weed system and its abuses. I’ve been an AZ resident for only 6 yrs. & knew nothing about our system or its establishment. Very helpful context, history, & analysis.

By contrast, the “Erratic Means Purple” article leaves me baffled. The article names several ppl “Tyrants” with zero explanation. Say what??

And the blurb abt the Kelly twins didn’t leave me laughing. The referenced tweet is missing so I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Lol sorry I thought Turning Point was enough explanation — it’s an over the top youth maga group that labels everything it doesn’t like tyrannical and everything it does like patriotic. And you gotta click the link for the tweet for the Scott Kelly evidence! Todays email was too long so I had to cut a few images

Thanks for the dispensary story. Yet another example of Arizona making the rich richer and fucking the rest of us. Also, now I'm helping rich people send their kids to private school. It doesn't get any better than this.

Good stuff. A hobbyhorse of mine: proceed with caution when voting for propositions, even if you like the underlying policy. Our ballot system isn’t built to respond to stuff like this and elected lawmakers are handcuffed from responding/remedying. During the campaign, the proponents spoke with extreme confidence that everything would work out fine. It’s a campaign, after all, so you’re not going to get a lot of talk about trade offs. I wonder what the proponents would say about this reporting and whether this is what they had in mind.
