I've haven't heard anything from Karrin Taylor Robson regarding her interest in the Senate race. Perhaps I've just missed it. But with all of the ongoing self-inflicted damage that Hari Kari Lake is sustaining, I'd very much like to see a rematch. Sher'ff Buns O' Steel will likely be a weak candidate. As for the prospect of the delusional national ticket i.e., Trump/Lake I think it's a definite possibility given that Trump is prone to "think" with his loins. And he certainly has a "thing" for her.
Borrelli is term-limited, I believe (first elected to the state senate in 2016, in the old LD5). So... is this just trying to get into Rogers's grift game and fundraising for when he can run statewide? He can't run for AG, so he can't say that if elected, he'd strip funding of counties on the complaint of legislators. Mmm...
By the way, pour one out in sympathy for poor Kari. A year ago at this time, she thought she was on a glide path to the governorship. After winning that office handily and spending a year signing every crazy-ass "election integrity" bill passed by the MAGA-fied Legislature, Trump would put her on the ticket, where she'd help him win in Nov. 2024 by putting AZ squarely in his column. After that, who knows? First woman president? I'd love a transcript of her daydreams from a year ago!
